Machine Operator
Apex International, the world's largest Anilox manufacturer, is looking for dedicated Machine Operators to join our team in Donora, PA. This role is essential to our high-quality production process, and we are committed to providing the training and support you need to succeed. Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload anilox rollers into the machine safely.
- Monitor machine for proper functionality.
- Operate and use overhead cranes safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Complete daily checklists, including refilling materials, dressing machines, and performing other assigned tasks.
- Rolls can weigh over 2000 lbs (moved using a cart and overhead crane). Manual lifting of up to 50 lbs is required regularly.
- Comfortable with Metric measurement.
- Must be able to work with tight tolerances as tight as .0005.
- Use micrometers for measuring diameters of anilox rollers.
Training will cover micrometer readings, interpreting work orders, inspection reports, and mechanical blueprints. You will also learn items specific to your department, how to operate overhead cranes safely, and how to navigate our inventory control system.
Qualifications
- General understanding of basic hand tools
- Basic math skills
- High attention to detail
- Machining experience preferred

- 8 hour shifts with a paid lunch break (11pm-7am, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm)
