CNC Lathe Operator
Apex International, the World's Largest Anilox Manufacturer, has an open CNC Lathe Operator position at our Donora, PA location. At Apex, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products to our customers every single time. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you play a crucial role in ensuring our manufacturing excellence. Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities
- Operate both a CNC and Manual Lathe in a safe manner.
- Comfortable working within tight tolerances of ±0.0005
- Ability to read and understand micrometers.
- Proficient in both Metric and ASE measurement systems, including conversions.
- Responsible for keeping a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate overhead cranes safely.
- Ability to read inspection reports and mechanical blueprints, and plan machining by reviewing work order specifications.
Requirements for the position
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of mathematics applicable to machining including basic geometry and algebra.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and materials handling techniques.
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and manuals effectively.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain specifics of testing conducting.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures.

- Rotating 8 hour shifts with a paid lunch break (11pm-7am, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm)
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime is available
